For those of you involved with ULI for a number of years, you may recall a Chancellor’s Certificate in Economic Development led by ULI St. Louis… The program came back to great success in 2016 and will return in the spring of 2017.
Through a collaboration with the Bi-State Development Agency and St. Louis Economic Development Partnership, ULI St. Louis is pleased to present an 8-module Chancellor’s Certificate in Economic Development, launching in March 2017.
Economic development is key to regional success. This Chancellor’s Certificate program, Fundamentals of Economic Development, covers economic and community development concepts and tools to attract, assess, and support development and redevelopment opportunities in our communities. Course modules, held in the heart of the Cortex Innovation Community, will lead participants through the steps necessary to develop and implement economic development plans and projects.
Led by senior economic development practitioners, the course will cover a range of topics of use to professionals working in the field.
Classes will be held from 6:00 – 9:00 pm on Wednesdays and can be taken individually or as a full, noncredit course. Those completing all 8 sessions will receive a Chancellor’s Certificate from the University of Missouri – St. Louis.
