Celebrating its 10th Anniversary, IMPACT Strategies is a full service commercial builder focused on positively impacting the communities in which it works. As a sponsor of ULI St. Louis, the leadership team at IMPACT Strategies found that their goal of “positively impacting communities” was very much in line with the mission of ULI and thus chose to sponsor the organization on a local level.
With active projects in Illinois and Missouri, IMPACT Strategies understands the importance of working closely with their clients to build lasting relationships. Andy Barnes, Director of Business Development for IMPACT, pointed to two projects in particular which demonstrate the company’s business philosophy.
IMPACT was selected as the builder for a new Boeing facility at Mid‐America Airport. This project brought jobs to the Metro East and also utilized underused infrastructure already in place at the Airport. Following the success of the Boeing project, IMPACT was again selected to build at Mid‐America, this time constructing a 36,000 square foot warehouse for North Bay Produce and more than doubling the warehouse/manufacturing space at the airport.
Another project of note for IMPACT Strategies is the Mini Cooper of St. Louis project that is being built in Maplewood adjacent to the Sunnen Metrolink station. IMPACT was selected as the contractor for the project after the owners toured the recently completed West County Nissan dealership where IMPACT performed a 55,000 square foot adaptive reuse of the former Plunkett Furniture store in Ballwin.
“While many may view IMPACT Strategies as an Illinois builder,” shared Andy, “we are working hard to reach out west of the Mississippi to gain a more regional presence. Our involvement with ULI has helped further this goal by providing our company with a broader perspective on issues relating to land use across the country and specifically those affecting St. Louis and the Metropolitan area.”
