Resources for Climate Resilient Home Repair & Collaboration for Systems Change

The ULI St. Louis Technical Assistance Panel brought together a team of experts to support revitalization efforts along the MLK “Cultural Boulevard” corridor. Through site analysis and community engagement, the panel provided strategic recommendations to improve pedestrian safety, enhance public spaces, strengthen corridor identity, support housing and economic development, and identify funding opportunities. The final report offers a clear, actionable roadmap to help the City, SLDC, and partners transform the corridor into a vibrant, culturally rich destination.
ULI Advisory Services Panel Report
The Gateway Mall, St. Louis, Missouri

The Advisory Services Panel Report about the Gateway Mall in St. Louis, Missouri, outlines a vision for reimagining the linear park—from the Arch to CityPark Stadium—as the heart of a vibrant, inclusive Central Social District rooted in culture, creativity, and community. Convened in January 2024 at the client’s request, the ULI expert panel recommends activating underused spaces with temporary cultural programming, supporting BIPOC entrepreneurs, coordinating placemaking efforts, and potentially rebranding the Mall’s identity. Additional recommendations include strategic property acquisitions, establishing a dedicated district manager to oversee development and programming, and leveraging public-private partnerships to drive long-term economic and social revitalization.

South Grand TAP

ULI St. Louis convened a Technical Assistance Panel to help the South Grand CID and nearby property owners explore redevelopment options for an underused parking lot and adjacent parcels. The panel engaged stakeholders, including Commerce Bank, and provided four development concepts with shared themes to guide future revitalization of this key neighborhood area.
Grand Station 2021 TAP

ULI St. Louis Technical Assistance Panel (TAP) was hired to evaluate the Grand Station area to provide strategic recommendations that support its revitalization and economic development. The panel assessed existing conditions, identified opportunities and challenges, and proposed actionable solutions focused on improving connectivity, enhancing public spaces, and fostering mixed-use development. Their goal was to help transform Grand Station into a vibrant, walkable, and sustainable neighborhood that leverages its historic assets and transportation access to attract investment and community engagement.
