    Webinar Summary:

    This webinar will bring together member leaders to investigate operational building management issues arising from the current crisis, looking at best practices and solutions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and how to prepare for a ‘return to normal’ situation.

    • What steps can be taken to reduce the spread of pathogens within buildings?

    Steven Khoury

    Steven Khoury Head of France & Client Solutions Europe – The Instant Group Steven joined The Instant Group in January 2020 as Managing Director of the continental European business. Instant is a workspace innovation company and recognised leading advisor of the Flex industry that enables its clients to navigate continual disruption with continual transformation. With the Flex market in Europe growing exponentially year on year, Steven’s main objective is to develop core Flex businesses in continental Europe. Previous Experience Steven has more than 20 years’ experience in real estate services, including 18 years in 5 different corporate & investor business lines with JLL. In 2001, he joined the JLL Project & Development Services team to provide project management services for new builds, heavy refurbishments, and tenant fit-outs. From 2009 to 2012, he managed & restructured the Workplace & Design team in France, including the creation of change management, workplace strategy practice, and high-end architectural design services. In 2013, he joined the Consulting & Transaction Management team, headed the Tenant Representation business line in 2014 as well as the Strategic Consulting & Corporate Accounts business lines from 2015 to end 2019. Since 2016, Steven was Chairman of the JLL EMEA Transaction Management board and in 2019 was appointed Executive Sponsor of Business Solutions (80 staff in Warsaw).

    Whitney Gray

    Senior Vice President, International WELL Building Institute , WELL AP, WELL Faculty

    Standing at the nexus of public health research and the places and spaces where we spend our lives, Whitney Austin Gray has become one of the leading global voices for improving our buildings and communities in ways that help people thrive. As senior vice president at the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), she leads research that supports best practices in building design and operations, community development and organizational policies that can contribute to improved public health for everyone, everywhere. She led the development of the first WELL AP exam, WELL Faculty Program, and the first case studies focused on the efficacy of the WELL Building Standard, helping to launch more than 100 educational sessions related to WELL in 25+ countries. Her lectures, webcasts, trainings and published works have touched tens of thousands design and health professionals worldwide, building a strong infrastructure of support for those who work to advance better buildings, vibrant communities and stronger organizations. Prior to joining IWBI, Dr. Gray served as the health research and innovation director for Cannon Design, a global healthcare design firm, where she oversaw the company’s primary and secondary research, prototyping and innovation platforms. Before her tenure with Cannon Design, she led building science research at the MedStar Institute for Innovation. She holds dual appointments as an adjunct assistant professor at the Georgetown School of Nursing & Health Studies and the Department of Urban and Regional Planning. She is the co-founder of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Health in Buildings Roundtable and an Advisory Board member at the Cornell Institute for Healthy Futures. She received her Ph.D. and BA in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She was the first public health professional to become a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP).

    Richard Williams

    Principal, Managing Director – Real Estate Management, Avison Young

    Richard Williams leads the Property Management division at Avison Young. He is an accomplished real estate executive with over 30 years' experience and verifiable achievements in strategic Property and Asset Management. He has previously held similar roles at CBRE and Nelson Bakewell. Richard has worked across all asset classes, but specialises in offices, mixed use and estates. He has managed for a wide variety of clients from institutions, banks and private equity to property companies, high-net-worths and estates. Richard chairs the Executive Board for Property Management and is a member of the UK Executive Board at Avison Young.

    Christophe Gomart

    Group Director of Security & Crisis Management, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield

    Lieutenant General retired, Christophe Gomart joined the Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield group July 2017, after 36 years as an officer in the French Army and Special Forces. Currently, he is the Group Director of Security and Crisis Management. He also deals with Health and Safety for the European Shopping Centers

    Csongor Csukas

    Chairman of Board Directors, BNP Paribas REIM

    Throughout his 18 years career in the Real Estate industry, Csongor has gained extensive experience in the wider range of the value creation chain including Facilities Management, Property Management and Asset Management activities for commercial real estate assets with a special focus on Shopping Centre Management. Since 2008 he was involved in several cross border real estate and corporate projects, ranging from Due Diligence processes for property acquisitions to externalisation of management activities and lift-out of specialised teams and operations. Csongor is member of the International Executive Committee of BNP Paribas Real Estate Group since 2014 and became CEO of BNP Paribas REPM France in 2018 in addition to his role of Deputy-Head of the Property Management Business Line all over Europe. Csongor holds an MSc in Financial Investment Analysis and Risk Management issued by Corvinus University of Budapest, holds another MSc in Quality and Technology Management issued by Budapest University of Technology and Economics, and holds also a Master degree in the Management of Pan-European Industrial Projects issued by ENSAM (Arts et Métiers ParisTech), providing him strong financial and technical skills and background. Csongor is fully committed to promote ethics, integrity and respect within the real estate industry as a member of RICS since 2012.
